DUNE ALPIN HOUSE

Appearing to be a remnant of the pre-existing agricultural landscape, the house uses the vernacular language of the local barn, both in its form and materials. The barn has been adapted, and modern elements have been inserted. The approach to the landscape is similar, using primarily native plants, with some ornamental grasses as transition from the planting screen to the native meadow. [4,000 sf new construction]
